If The Temperature Of A Gas Triples, What Happen To Its Volume At A Constant Pressure And Amount Of Gas?
If the temperature of a gas triples, what happen to its volume at a constant pressure and amount of gas?
Good Day
According to Charles Law, volume is directly proportional to kelvin temperature of gas when pressure and amount of gas are constant.
Note: In the problem, it doesnt state what temperature unit is used.
Considering that the kelvin temperature of a gas triples, the volume also triples since the are directly proportion.
If the temperature is degree celsius and is tripled, the volume increases but not tripled since volume is only directly proportional to kelvin temperature of gas.
Hope it helps....=)
